Friday is PIE DAY-taste test complete

Oh-yum.  Just dished up a slice of the peanut butter pie, and I have to say that I like it more than I thought I would.  It is a really lovely pie.   The top has hardened into a thin layer of cake like crust, and the base is similar to a pecan pie, but slightly more custard like, and, naturally, peanut butter flavored.  The texture combination is really nice, and the peanut butter flavor is not overwhelming.  Thumbs up!  Try one this weekend-it's a super easy recipe.  I normally drink coffee with my pie, but a slice of this would be fantastic with a big cold glass of milk.
